House Considers Legislation to Remove Barriers to Congressional Oversight of Last-Minute Rulemaking
Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) recently introduced legislation, H.R. 5982, the Midnight Rules Relief Act of 2016, which would allow Congress to have more efficient oversight of last minute rules and regulations finalized by the Administration. The action has expired.
