Representative Hardy is Pushing Back Against Administration Plans to Designate More than 700,000 Acres as a National Monument
Representative Crescent Hardy (R-NV) has publicized that the Administration is considering designating over 700,000 acres in his district as a National Monument. Hardy recently stated, “I am appalled and deeply concerned about the national security implications of President Obama’s politically motivated effort to permanently tie up more than 700,000 acres of land.”
Send an email urging President Obama and Interior Secretary Sally Jewel NOT to move forward with this massive inappropriate designation. It is imperative that you take action as the Administration is likely to cite strong local support for the designation – we must make sure they hear from Nevadans and others from the local area that oppose the designation.
