Recreational Trails Program
The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) is a Federal Highway Administration program. RTP funds come from the Federal Highway Trust Fund and are available to states to develop and maintain recreational trails and trail-related facilities for both non-motorized and motorized recreational trail uses. ARRA members in CA are being asked to contact the OHMVR Cmsn., CA State Parks, and the CA Coastal Cmsn. to oppose drastic provisions in the Draft Public Works Plan (PWP) and associated Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Pismo State Beach and Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA).
