The Senate will be voting on increasing Recreational Trails Program within the next 12 hours, and we need your help to get us over the finish line.
Recreational Trails Program
The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) is a Federal Highway Administration program. RTP funds come from the Federal Highway Trust Fund and are available to states to develop and maintain recreational trails and trail-related facilities for both non-motorized and motorized recreational trail uses. Each state administers its own program. Follow the links below to view the RTP funding summary for Oregon and a comprehensive list of completed projects in Oregon.
Write to your Senator to support an amendment increasing the Recreational Trails Program by the same percentage as the Transportation Alternatives Program. The RTP is critical for the continued development and maintenance of trails across the country for all recreational interests.
The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council
NOHVCC is a national body of OHV recreation enthusiasts that develops and provides a wide spectrum of programs, materials, and information to individuals, clubs, associations, and agencies in order to further a positive future for responsible OHV recreation.
